ColD War coast

Expect to see a few reminders of the Cold War in this area. There’s a large bunker complex you can pay to enter too.

Most of the route, just like yesterday you’re sandwiched between fieds, forest and sea.

Stevns Klint

The precariously balanced church on top of the cliff at Stevns Klint is a good stop with restaurants and a few walking paths down to the sea. We saw peregrine falcons hunting around the cliffs.

Vallø Slot

You can stay overnight in the local “inn” (Vallø Slotskro) that is also known for its food.

Overnight: Køge

We continued on to the town of Køge, a fairly large place, effectively a subburb of Copenhagen but with some amazing old buildings around the large central square.

You can rent kayaks at the back of the hotel we stayed at.
