My name is Jamie and I’ve been living in Copenhagen, Denmark for the last 20 years. I’m originally from Blackpool in the UK.

I think my friends know me as a cyclist but in my mind I’m not. It took almost 10 years after I started “cycling” to get my first Lycra and even then it was only because somebody else bought it for me (I don’t wear Lycra any longer… I think it looks ridiculous). Most of the “cyclists” I know are roadies: they only cycle on the roads; but that isn’t for me and I’d prefer to be exploring lonely forest trails and gravel paths.
