Copenhagen to Langres

First day for 2020! There’s no easy way to get to Langres from Copenhagen, especially in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.

My hope was to take a train down to Basel via a stop in Hamburg, and then across to Langres from Mulhouse. But the trains seemed shut down on the Mulhouse to Langres route, probably due to summer repairs or similar.

So I bailed out and did the reverse of last year. Copenhagen to Paris and then Paris to Langres. Again issues with times of flights meant I stayed overnight in Paris right next to Gare de l’Est. The trains to Langres were every hour so I set off very early to get to Langres around 0900.

However the train go stuck half way and only got into Langres at 1200! After an hour of bike building and testing, I was then ready to go.
